Werenski and Chabot should have much better PP’s to play with this year. Either one would be a good choice. Werenski by a hair for me.
Hey, points only, win now, which guy do you prioritize with a higher pick
Heiskanen (been leaning this way)
Chabot
Klingberg
Werenski
Hamilton
Thanks

I believe Chabot is the answer here. The Ottawa offensive is going to be much improved this season which will be a great asset for Thomas Chabot.
To me Klingberg and Dougie is out. After that it's real right. I think all of them have big potential. Heiskanen is intriguing but he hasn't produced yet at a high point total. Kind of like Petrangelo even with the PP1 time maybe he is only a 55 point guy. This year will determine it.
So that leaves Chabot or Weresenki. I had to make this decision myself earlier. Pengwin7 threw out some really good numbers on why he think's Weresnski could be a 60/65 point D with improvements to their powerplay. Conversely Chabot hasn't really done it yet despite getting lots of PP1 time. I think I roll the dice on Weresnski here. but it's really close.
12 Team Keep 5 (2 F, 1 D, 1 G, 1 Any) G,A,PTS,PPP,SOG,HITS,PIMS,W,GAA and Sv%.
F: Kucherov, K.Connor, J. Hughes,, J.Guentzel, A.Svechnikov,
D: Q. Hughes,
G:Bobrovsky
I would go with Chabot, I like Werenski as well but think Chabot is in a great situation in a high scoring conference who gets top minutes with really no competition on his team.

From my own projections:
Heiskanen - 50 pts - People are very high on him right now and it's understandable. The potential is sky-high but I'm in the camp that he's a much better real life D than a fantasy one. Last year, he paced for 42 points with a decent 47.8% PPtime share. He'll obviously get better deployment on the PP but will he produce that many more points? I'm doubtful.
Chabot - 55 pts - With Giroux and DeBrincat now on board and no competition, Chabot is a high floor pick. That being said, he's been abysmal on the PP which worries me a little. Ottawa expects to compete this year so will he eventually be phased out if the results aren't there?
Klingberg - 48 pts - New team, competition (Drysdale, Shattenkirk, Fowler), I'm not that high on him. He's in a contract year (again) which helps, but he's on the bottom of this list.
Werenski - 57 pts - He'd be my choice here. Clear top D who gets help with Gaudreau joining him on the top PP. Granted, he's also never been amazing on the PP but this team never has had many weapons to help him.
Hamilton - 52 pts - Love Hamilton in cats league. He loses some luster in points-only after such a rough year. I think he rebounds this year but maybe not as high as before.

Not massive difference in a points only. It's a dice roll on who can stay healthy. But with Guadreau, a healthy Laine, and maybe Kent Johnson... Werenski is gonna have a bucket of toys to play with.
