Bobrovsky. He's the starter. The most important season is the one right in front of us, as the league and you are both here for it.

Leagues die, yours sounds strong, but I had a long time dynasty league die this past offseason due to the commish quitting. One last season as well, but I had only joined as a replacement owner in that league for one year.

Tricky as Bob is the starter and should play more games. But 16 team league sure would be nice to have knight long term. Sounds like you have a good team, if you think can lose Bob and still be competitive this year I’d prob keep knight due to size of the league and future seasons.

Since it sounds like you will be competing once again this season, I'd stick with Bob.

I was stuck with this problem myself. Keeper League where you protect 6 Keepers. (going into 3rd yr) I went a little unorthodox and protected both Bob and Knight, also Saros (who I picked off waivers in the final week of last year).
My other 3 players are Kaprizov, Pastrnak and Barkov.
I would have preferred to keep only one of the Florida goalies, but I wasn't comfortable dropping one of them. It is kind of nice going into the draft and not being concerned about goaltending though.
After my 6 keepers, the talent dropped off a bit, it would have been Bratt who was up for protection.
    I finished 3rd last year, 2nd the 1st season.

It was only 2 seasons ago where people were suggesting Knight over Bob. One bounce back season and Bob is suddenly the favored for years to come.

I still think you have to watch the play of Bob. He is the starter, but of course if he starts to falter it will be time to put Knight in there for an extended period of time. That is the good thing of having two really capable Goalies.

Until Knight grabs that net, it's Bobrovsky's too lose. Knight hasn't shown himself to be a #1 yet. The Knight hype was premature.
Or maybe it was more panic, because Bob was shitting the bed back then.

He shit the bed in 2019 and lost his job to Driedger.
He shit the bed in 2020 and lost his job to Driedger and also by Knight in the few games he played in the regular season and the 2 playoff games.
Last season was the first season in four seasons where he finished above .910 SPCT.

If he weren't being paid $10M he wouldn't be the starter.

OK. Your sig explains everything. Bob was 39 and 7 last year. It was not just because of the money.

Does my sig negate his 2019 and 2020 season? Does it negate the fact that Panthers were trying to move him at the TDL? No it doesn't. Let's see your sig .

    39 and 7

I get it, you took a chance on Knight and it hasn't paid of yet. But you can't ignore Bob was 39 and 7 last year. Until he falters again, it's his net. Maybe this is the year. As a Knight and Bob owner, I hope Knight grabs the reigns, I don't want to protect both of them next off season.
