    Default Dobson vs Hamilton

For the league in my signature who's the better guy to own for the next few years, and is there a small or large gap between the two?

I may have a chance to acquire Dobson (with a small +) for Hamilton.
    12 Team Weekly H2H, Daily Lineups. Keep 7 + 1 Prospect (<164 NHL games).

    GOALIE: W(2), GA(-1.5), Saves(0.3), SO(3)
    Positions - 3C, 2RW, 2LW, 4D, 2G, 5 Bench, 4 IR, 1 prospect

    C - J Hughes(LW), Hintz, Malkin, Pinto
    LW - M Tkachuk(RW), Robertson
    RW - Rust, Necas, Zuccarello
D - Makar, Fox, Bouchard, Roy, Krug
    G - Oettinger, Thompson, Wedgewood
    Prospect Keeper - L Hughes(D)
    IR - Hill(G)

I’d personally stick with Dobson. Hamilton is probably the better short term own tho.

i think its Hamilton for 4-5 years still..im expecting big things..but his value will diminish with every year he gets older and i dont think gap is very big...so it really depends what you looking for

I’m all in this year to try for a title. Next year (2023-24 season) our league drops to 7 keepers. So my priority is this season, but also want to think about potential future keepers as I’ll have some tough decisions to make to get from 9 down to 7 keepers.

i dont have any solid reasons for this but i have a feeling Hamilton will have carrier year ....maybe its emergence of Hughes, Heischier and fresh young blood like Mercer and Holtz...but something tells me that Hamilton will be much better than Dobson this year...

I'd go with Hamilton for now, Dobson for the very long term (age difference)

With your categories, a goal scoring D man is very valuable. Hamilton is a consistent double-digit goal scoring D man and his NJ team has the firepower to score.

Dobson put up 13 last year, but it's a small sample size and I have concerns about the scoring on the Island. There's some allusion that losing Trotz will open the scoring floodgates, but do they have the talent to put up 3+ goals a game?

ADH is such a sog pig i love it. As good as Dobson might end up being i don't think he projects to ever be in that 240+ sog realm that is so rare for a dean. I go hammy but obviously depends on the add.

If you believe in Jack Hughes' upside, then you have to take Hamilton here. If you don't, then I think you can argue for Dobson.

I think Hamilton has the better year.
Hamilton has produced before and in his few showings thus far he has looked pretty solid for NJ.

I am not sure what to make of NYI. Yes Dobson is pretty secure in that #1 pp role, but any prolonged failure and Pulock steps in.

I'm on the short term Hamilton bus, and Doson in long run. So if you are in win mode keep Hammy.
