Attempted Draft Strategy... Prioritizing RW/D... How will I do?
Hey All,
I am typically more into keeper leagues, but since all of my keeper leagues folded... I'm throwing my hat into random 1-year Yahoo leagues.
My team 1 below, I had the 5th pick, and Leon slid to me there, and my general thought was to draft best available based on how round by round was going. Sadly, I think my D core is on the weak side, I feel like my forwards and goalies are well above average.
My team 2 below; I threw caution to the wind, and focused on drafting the best available D or RW available for the first 6 picks. (Prioritized RW being RW depth is lacking it seems).
I had the 2nd overall pick, and grabbed Makar likely earlier than I should, be hell, why not try.
So anyways, for my team 2 below... how do you think I'll do? Is an elite D-core critical for fantasy success? Or am I going to be scrounging for forwards on the waiver wire just to try to keep my head above water?
Thanks for your thoughts!
