Dawson Mercer or Barrett Hayton? REP

I currently have Dawson Mercer as depth for my RW/C position, but am worried if he is not on the line with Jack Hughes & Ondrej Palat, and ends up on the line with Eric Haula & Miles Wood. Barrett Hayton of Arizona is available as a Free Agent and would play the same role on my team as C/RW depth and would be pretty much guaranteed top 2 lines for the Coyotes skating with Keller, Schmaltz, N.Ritchie, or Kassian. Would it be better to keep Mercer or pick up Hayton? The leagues scoring categories are in my signature.

Hayton is going to provide a TON more of FOW... but it's going to come at the cost of being between -20 and -40 on the season.
And that HURTS.

Mercer is likely going to be a 3rd liner and PP2-ish guy (he was on PP1 last night, but not sure that stays).
Personally, I'd hold Mercer... for now. I don't think too many fantasy GMs are looking hard at Coyote guys.

Really, you want to chug numbers and see if you feel like you NEED more FOW (at the huge expensive of minuses).
NJ has a solid defense and Mercer shouldn't be "bad" in any way... and Hayton may.

Thanks, yeah the Coyotes players are going to be brutal with the +/- and my other Centers right now are Elias Lindholm(842 FOW), Tage Thompson(393 FOW), Nico Hischier(730 FOW), Alex Newhook(136 FOW), Cole Perfetti(0 FOW), Dawson Mercer(209 FOW). All the FOW totals from last season. So really other than Lindholm & Hischier everyone else just picks them up. I expect Newhook & Perfetti to get more this season.

I could also add a player like Pavel Zacha or Max Domi for Dawson Mercer. Pavel Zacha is more intriguing to me than Domi because he at least adds some HITS while Domi really does nothing.

I also have a trade offer on the table for Mason McTavish for Dawson Mercer. Do you think that is a fair deal and do you see McTavish making the Ducks team?

Actually picked up Barrett Hayton, only because the trade offer did not materialize.

I also looked at the need for my teams FOW and Barrett Hayton would help that out a lot. Also I am overloaded with RW eligible players and Hayton is eligible at C/LW so that also helps me out a lot with daily line up maneuvering. I know he is going to hurt my team with the +/-, but I only really have Bjorkstrand who is projected badly in that area. I also think Hayton will be one of the main offensive threats on the Coyotes so that is a plus.
