I was offered the following trade and am curious as to which side people prefer.
I GET:
Jack Hughes + Ekblad
I GIVE:
Draisaitl + Morrissey
The league is a full dynasty and I'm coming off back to back championships and I'm still in win-now mode. So I'm not all that keen on shaking up my team but I'm always willing to make a big deal if it makes sense.
My thoughts here are Drai is clearly the best asset by far in this trade and I don't think Hughes ever catches him. I also worry about Hughes' injury history in his albeit young career. But going from Morrissey to Ekblad is a sizeable upgrades.
To make things more interesting, the guy making the offer is likely to be my main competition this season. Thoughts?

I almost didn't need to read the post to say no, you keep Draisatl. Ekblad has missed 15 games or more 3 times in the last in the last 5 years and Hughes has looked the part of a band-aid boy so far. This guy is trying to unload attractive liabilities. Smart thinking by him, but don't be fooled.

I actually like Josh Morrissey and right now Jack Hughes is not Leon Draisaitl. So I would hold on to what you got.

I'd pass on this. Draisiatl is a top 5 player in your format, at worst.
Hughes isn't a top 10 forward, and I think he could get there, but he may not. Ekblad is more elite at D than Morissey or Hughes at F, but he & Hughes have a bit too much of the injury bug for me.

Yeah I wouldn't even bother with this.
In a league like yours, Draisaitl is easily the second best player behind McDavid. Jack Hughes is not even in the top 40 right now. Draisaitl will easily get over 100 points, you cannot say the same for J. Hughes right now.
While Ekblad is better than Morrissey, the downgrade from Draisaitl to J. Hughes does not justify the upgrade from Morrissey to Ekblad.
