I really like Byram, but your leagues set up I think Raymond is the player that will be more beneficial. Also you already have 3 solid D-Men as keepers. I would put Byram back into the draft and try and draft him.
Trying to decide between Raymond and Byram for my final keeper. Points only league, d are pretty valuable and hard to get in the draft or by trade compared to forwards. I won last season by keeping 4 forwards and 4 d in a 12 gm league.
My signature isnt accurate, team is below.

I'd go Raymond as the presence of Makar will probably (and rightfully so) depress other owners' valuation of Byram. Raymond is Line 1, power play 1, for the foreseeable future.
yeah i agree with others its Raymond for your league. Fact that its points only and there is Makar in Colorado is one thing, another is the fact that you already have 3 scoring D and you need more help up front. Raymond could score 70 pionts this year, im assuming he worked a lot on conditioning in offseason after he run out of gas in second half...

Here's the simple way to do this.
For a 12-team 9F league, go find out what forward #108 scores in a full NHL season (say 2021-22). Compare that to your projection for Raymond (say, 65pts)
For a 12-team 4F league, go find out what d-man #48 scores in a full NHL season (say 2021-22). Compare that to your projection for Byram (say, 35pts)
Whatever is the bigger differential... is who you choose. Easy peazy.
I was leaning that way as well, thanks for the advice!
I'd keep Raymond due to the scarcity and value placed on forwards in your league.

Raymond, he'll get all the prime time minutes where Byram will only get secondary minutes with Makar around.
