dont get your question at all....you mean NHL draft 2021 , 2022 ? or ceiling of NHLers based on performance in last 2 years? maybe easier to list few players for rankings.
Out of the past two drafts, which players do you guys feel have the highest ceilings?
Looking at something for G/A/PPP/Hits/Blocks/Shots/W/Saves/Save % and GAA

again would be easier if you listed few players ...this list is based on points only
K Johnson
Cooley
Wright
Mctavish
Power
im sure you get all kind of rankings here as nobody has Chrystal ball and your question is very vague. GL!

The Hit/Blk/PPP defenseman is a unicorn these days (with guys like Weber, Subban, Chara all aging out in past 3-5 years).
This MIGHT be Owen Power, who is PP1 roadblocked by Dahlin... and MIGHT be Jake Sanderson, who is PP1 roadblocked by Chabot and Brannstrom.
I honestly don't know what these guys will be like for Hit/Blk - but I imagine Power will be great... and Sanderson will be good.
So Owen Power is my #1.
There's a lot of interchangeable guys that could be #2.
I have big scoring faith in Kent Johnson, William Eklund, and Juraj Slafkovsky.
Johnson - only if he plays winger though.
If Mason McTavish is playing wing... I want him in front of all those guys.
Centers - I don't like. It's just really, really, REALLY hard to be an NHL C1, carry the defensive responsibility AND score.
Only the very elite guys (McDavid, Matthews, Eichel) really end up being high-ceiling.
I like Cooley and Wright and Beniers... but playing center is hard and these guys are far from generational.
Beniers, I think, is INCREDIBLY underrated... and from what I've seen from him at Michigan and Seattle... I'd rank him ahead of Cooley and Wright.
Another guy I like is Frank Nazar... and like Johnson, I'm not high on him as a center... but if CHI happens to land Bedard... and they shift Nazar to wing... watch-out.
This said, IF Chicago finishes last in NHL, lottery still only gives them 25% shot at #1 pick.
Anyways, you need a list... so:
1. Power
...
...
2a. Beniers (mid-development as "C")
2b. McTavish (2a if Wing... 2c as Center... I'm splitting difference.)
2c. K.Johnson (IF "C", longer development)
2d. Eklund
2e. Slafkovsky (long development due to size)
2f. Guenther
2g. Cooley (long development as "C")
2h. Wright (long development as "C")
In no particular order:
Hughes, Slaf, Cooley, Savoi, Lekkeramaki, Mintyukov, Johnson, Clarke, Eklund, Johnston, Beniers
10 Team, 60 Player Roster
G, A, PTS, PPP, PIM, BLKs, Hits, +/-, Shots, W, GAA, SV%, Saves
C- JHughes, Trocheck, RThomas, Zegras, Norris, Bennett, PLD, Stephenson, Danualt
RW- Raymond, Stone, TWilson, Toffoli, KJohnson, Nyqvist, Zary
LW- Keller, Schmaltz, Bunting, Skinner, Barbashev, Duclair
D- QHughes, McAvoy, Doughty, Heiskanen, LHughes, Mintyukov
G- Shesterkin, Demko, Andersen, Kahkonen, Levi, Tarasov, Annunen
Notable Prospects- Nikishin, Kulich, Leonard, Wood, Perreault, Lekkermaki, Ostlund, Othmman, REvans, L-Heureux, Ivanov, Murashov
Off the top of my head:
Big fan of McTavish with these categories. I'd consider him the possible top option.
Wallstedt and Cossa should be mentioned as you have some goalie cats there.
I like Slafkovsky. I'm on board with P7's view that if a winger is taken 1st overall over highly regarded C's (Cooley and Wright), he must be pretty special.
Beniers has to be in this conversation. It's a small sample size but 9pt in 10 games so far...
Power needs a mention here too. Too bad Dahlin is there though.
Finally, I'm liking KJohnson and LHughes although I'm not sure how much they will bring in the hits category.
