    I was high on Vanacek, but reports coming out of Devils camp seem to suggest Jonathan Bernier will be back before the New Year.

    This all depends on the health of Murray, who is being paid starter money. If he can't stay on the ice the easy answer is Samsonov. If he can, I prefer Vanecek. Samsonov is riskier as he could start anywhere from 25 to 55 games, but he has more upside. Vanecek plays probably no fewer than 35 games and up to 60. It depends how much risk you're willing to take.
