In a one-year total points league (PPP x2), how would you rank these three? What about total point projections (pts + PPP)?

I'm a little surprised by the previous two answers.

I've got Ovechkin for 83 points (including 27PPPs) for a total of 110 pts in your format.
I've got Crosby for 81 points (including 29PPPs) for a total of 110 pts in your format.
I've got Kane (assuming Patrick Kane here) for 92 points (including 32 PPPs) for a total of 124 pts in your format.

To me, it's not really close. I understand the fear that Chicago will suck and Kane doesn't have great linemates. But he's capable of generating his own offense and will still be amazing on the PP. Kane was already the best of the 3 last year. Should be the same this year.

Dobber has them all around 80-85 pts. Kane isn’t hitting 92 pts with that F group. They’re all hitting around 30 PP pts Ovechkin just sees so much PP time - as they all do. But the Caps have the best F depth here. That’s why I went Ovechkin. Really you can’t go wrong with any of them.

Kane has fell short of a 90-point pace once in the last 7 years. I'm not betting against that because his supporting cast got weaker. Linemates will rise to the occasion and while none of them should be fantasy draftable, Kane is. And with a chance to be moved to a contender before the fantasy playoffs, I love it even more.

That being said, you're right that any of the three are fine.

I definitely think he regress to around a PPG. I have him for 79 points in 75 games. In a one-year points league, I'd rather any of the other 3.
