    Default Excel Help

I'm trying to get a excel doc made up, and I know there should be a way to do what I want but I can't think of it.

I'm doing a golf tourny with buddies and we're going to track our scores on a shared Excel doc. I want to make a master tab that will show everyones scores. Simple.

However, I want to have it also show what hole everyone is on. I was thinking of something like "If the score of a player is filled out, then display this cell's value". So if a pair has finished hole 5, they put in their score, and the formula would pick up "oh hole 5 is filled out, they must be on hole 6". But I can't think of how to run that formula.

    Any help would be great.

Nvm, I figured it out lol.

If you care it's just a count function.

    =count(DATERANGE)+1.

I got to this too late... lol

I prefer to use CountIF or CountIFS as Count is only for numeric (which works in your case) and IFS allows for multiple criteria which is needed sometimes.
