I've been shopping goalies as I don't need four. My only concern is Krug is 31, so he's probably 1-3 years away from a decline. Do I take this, continue to shop or hold on to Gibson?

ya know if you've held Gibson through this tough stretch I'd say keep him for one more go around at least because in theory the team should be better as a whole.

While I'd like to boast that I've endured the hardship. I actually picked up Gibson at the end of last season for a 6th. So the cost was minimal. It was more of a Price insurance policy than anything. I just look at Andy, Hart and Petersen and think I can probably aftord to lost one of them.

I like your D already. Maybe make a deal for a winger instead. If it’s Gibby for Krug I personally would hold onto Gibson. Good luck.

If you want to trade a goalie, I would rather trade Hart than Gibson. The Ducks play half their games on off nights. You can maximize the number of games you get from your goalies by keeping Gibson and your cats do not penalize you for bad goalie stats. Spin the goalie roulette on those 41 off nights!

I'd do this in a second Gibson hasn't been good in years. The fact that you can get a useful skater for him I take it and run.

I prefer Gibby over Krug straight up, and even more given your current D is already stacked. Like others have said, if you could swap him for a winger, would make a lot more sense.

LW- Marchand, Arvidsson
RW- Konecny, Bjorkstrand
D- Carlson, Hughes, Werenski, Dobson
G- Andy, Hart, Gibson, Petersen
Farm- Lafreniere, McTavish, Caufield, Reichel, Stone

I can keep Boqvist or Kylington at the expense of Johnston or Reichel if I want and then keep Gibson. So I guess that should be considered as well.
I just see Krug's name and it obvious that I like top end D.
