Salaries are a bit skewed as it depends if players were acquired through auction or drafted or protected. We can protect as many as we want up to our 12 starting F and 7 D plus 3 G.

Anyway I hope this is enough info to get some input, whether this is a fair deal or should I pass?

if mcdavid worth 260 and ovy 165 kucherov at 50 is a bargain price so yes you must pay to land him has a kucherov owner it might be tempting to accept the key piece is stuzle not a big fan of barzal

Man people are down on Kuch. He has the highest point season in the last 20 years just a couple years ago and scored at 120 point pace last year. I know the injury concerns but last year was a weird one. That is an insanely cheap price to pay for him. I get it done.

I’ve never understood the overpay for one nugget player. That’s how you lose at fantasy hockey. If these can he had for reasonable fair prices than sure. But to pay a price that losses you say 20-30 points in a 12 roto to gain 12 doesn’t make sense. Particularly when the player is injury prone. If you just simply have too many great players and need to get rid of some to make the numbers work then maybe.

No this is for another league I am in. It is neither of the leagues in my signature.

The league where this is in, there is a $1000 salary cap for the auction to fill my active roster, once active roster is full and every other team is full, it is open season as to salary.

I do this every day in an auction league. Dynasty auction leagues are a different animal than many are used to.

Assuming McDavid sets the bar at most expensive player, that current price for Kucherov should make a him a value deal for the rest of his career. Slam dunk.

Ideally I'd like some $5 filler guy back taht may be being dropped just so I have another cheap option, but I wouldn't let that hold this up.

The thing is look at this trade. Stutzle is $40 and Kucherov clearly being many levels above him is only $10 more? You have to make this deal. I would be interested to know what Mackinnion of Marner are for salary in this league. I feel Kucherov is at that level and in Marners case above.

I will be protecting approx. $880 salary if I accept or not, probably dropping Ovie to get to this value and needing to pick up 2 F players in the auction with $120 to spend on the 2 players.
