So I joined BET365 yesterday and made a few bets. Let me know what you think?

-I took Columbus Blue Jackets to get over 79.5 points in the season.

-I took the Vancouver Canucks to get over 92.5 point in the season. A bit of a homer bet but still think its 50/50.

-I took the Winnipeg Jets to get over 88.5 points in the season.

-I took the Vancouver Canucks to win the division. Complete homer/fun bet but the juice is great.

Season long bets are tough because your funds are tied up for months. But if you find good ones, it's def worth it. I do try to avoid award betting (this is hard to accomplish though lol) because you're not only betting stats, but also narrative. For an MVP before the season starts you are betting stats. But with about 2 months left in a season, narratives start taking a role in MVP discussions. I try to avoid these type of award betting. But I always tend to drop a few bucks on MVP/CY Young/OPOTY/Vezina.

I'm not big into the other sports besides golf lol but I did bet two money line NFL games this week for fun. I have money line Steelers and the Saints to win. That Kraken bet is interesting. They should be much improved but they were awful last year.

Soccer is my least favourite sport to watch unless it's a big game, but I tend to have the most success in soccer better teams that are -130 to win big money ($40min, my single stake is typically $5)

Castillo under 10.5 Wins --- 6 right now but he also was hurt to start the year so this may just be disqualified

Franco over 165 hits ---- ugh. Way too much missed time

And possibly the most painful one right now...

Bichette over 105 runs --- he's now on pace for 96. If he keeps this up it could actually be close.

Yah I really liked the Columbus bet. Maybe should of bet more on that one. As for the Canucks, that's my yearly homer pick. Still though they had 92 points last season after starting dismally. As for Winnipeg, I guess I am betting on them being a playoff team again. I don't think the West is that strong this year and I think they can up seat a Dallas. Even if they are not in the playoffs, all they need to be is fighting for it for me to win that bet.

Take the Kraken under. I'd love to know how often teams increase by 20 points year over year. Can't be very often.

Because we talked about bet365, has anyone seen these "boost bets" they have been offering for Primetime NFL games?

This weekend they offered Rodgers throwing a single passing TD at 2/1 and then last night they had Diggs to score a TD at 4/1.

It's quite strange butttttttttttt so far so good.
