That's a huge opportunity for him. He'll presumably be competing with JT Compher for the 2nd line center job. He should be paid well after this deal.

Nice deal for the Avs. Losing Kadri hurts but getting a little more depth at C is nice. Rodrigues/Compher/Newhook will probably compete all year for that 2C job.
