    Default Who @ 2?

12 Team League - Full PPR
    1 QB, 2 WR, 2 RB, TE, WR/TE, WR/RB - 5 Bench

    The following have been kept as keepers;
CMC, Taylor, Ekeler, Cook, Jefferson, Kupp, Henry, Kelce, Mixon, Adams, Pittman, Samuel

    CMC is my keeper.

I have the 2nd pick and I'm leaning Chase if he doesn't go 1st, but the Steeler fan in me wants to avoid the Bengals and go with Harris.

    What say you?

Harris dealt with a lisfranc injury during camp

I'd take Swift over Harris right now. But the rankings are:
    Chase
    Harris
    Swift
    Diggs
    Jones
    Barkley
    Kamara
    12 Team, H2H, Keep 6 (in Bold)
G, A, Pts, PPP, FW, SOG, Hits, Blocks
W, Saves, S%, GAA, Game Started
    2C, 2LW, 2RW, 4D, 1Util, 2G, 5BN, 2IR, 1IR+, 1NA

    C: Horvat, Trocheck
LW: J. Robertson, Byfield (C), Guenther
RW: Pavelski (C), Giroux (C), Svechnikov (LW)
D: Fox, Makar, Bouchard, Morrissey, Gudas
    Util: Meier (LW, RW)
    G: Oettinger, Georgiev, Samsonov, Woll

I like this order except I have Kamara over a Barkley.

Is it good or bad that Harris will get a huge work load this year because of the uncertainty at QB? If Chase is there (YUCK from a fellow Steeler fan) then you gotta take him. If he's gone then Harris should be the pick. IF he's healthy then he's a legit RB. (But then you might have 2 injuries at the RB position)

The foot injury shouldn't be an issue by week 1 for Harris.

    https://www.baltimoreravens.com/news...juries-tj-watt

Najee Harris hasn't been healthy since early in training camp.

The Steelers' workhorse running back has been dealing with a Lisfranc sprain foot injury, suffered when someone stepped on his foot during the first padded practice. Harris believes he's on track to be 100% by Week 1, but revealed following Sunday's preseason finale that the recovery process has been slow.

"That is why I was out the majority of camp," Harris said via Joe Rutter of the Pittsburgh Tribune-Review. "I'm just now getting over it."
I'd still take Harris at 2 and get two studs are RB. You'll find LOTS of quality WRs as the draft proceeds.

Lisfranc injuries (sprain or not) can take months to fully heal. I dunno how I feel about those reports. But I could be overly cautious right now about it.

Normal lisfranc sprains take 4-6 weeks to recover from (according to NFL articles), this week is week 4. He did play in a pre-season game so that does put me a bit at ease. Lisfranc's are weird. Articles say it could be 3months, some say 6+ weeks, some say 4-6 weeks. It's all on the severity I guess.

Well, considering they are quoting him and not just making assumptions, that definitely put me at ease. You heard it from the horses mouth, so to say.

The idea of a two-headed backfield of CMC/Harris is tempting. Set it and forget it for the entire season barring any injury....

Ja'Marr Chase is the easy pick for me. I'm not touching a lis franc injury. Plus the O-line is suspect. Harris' value comes from volume, not efficiency, so if Pittsburgh regulates his workload, then he's no different than 2nd or 3rd round backs. He needs to have 25 carry games. As to Henry, the number of 28 year old backs who have put up big numbers is a small one. Plus he's been a punishing rusher. I don't want to gamble that there is still tread on the tires. Ekeler seems like a regression candidate, especially as to touchdowns.

Chase went @ 1 like I figured, so I ended up going with Najee @ 2.

Thanks guys, repped where I could.

Well, if you get a healthy yr from both CMC and Najee, you're set up to destroy. And because it's a friday and I'm sure we're all doing half days before the long weekend (some of us doing the half day while at work ;-)) what was the rest of your draft like?

Round in brackets. Felt like I had a great first 6-7 rounds, then I started leaving some value on the table. Overall pretty happy with the squad tho

    QB: Dak (11)
    WR: K. Allen (2)
    WR: Higgins (3)
    RB: CMC (Keeper)
    RB: Najee (1)
    TE: Freiermuth (8)
    WR/TE: McLaurin (4)
    WR/RB: Hollywood Brown (5)
    K: Succop (15)
    D: LA Chargers (14)
    B: Patterson (6)
    B: Hunt (7)
    B: Julio Jones (9)
    B: DeVante Parker (10)
    B: DJ Chark (12)
    B: Deshaun Watson (13)

    The picks I love:
    Higgins - 3
    Freiermuth - 8
    Dak - 11
    LAC - 14

Picks I would have done differently
    Najee - 1 (but like...coin flip)
M.Brown - 5. This is more I don't know how to feel about Arizona, but would also depend what was around this pick

    Picks that are smart:
Watson - 13, I hate him. But he's a top 5 QB when he's in swing of things.
    Parker - 10. WR1 on a team that's a bench player, pretty solid
Hunt - 7. This is interesting. They'll use him because they need as many offensive weapons as possible while Watson is out
Jones - 9. Bench guy and he should be targeted a bunch until week 4 when he's hurt lol.
    Patterson - 6 RB2 on your bench.

    Tips.
Watch for D'onta Foreman and Chuba Hubbard to insure your CMC investment. Carolina has shown they will use their RB2 when CMC gets hurt in the same way they use CMC. It's 100% worth the bench investment. I'd look at DJ Chark as the guy to drop for that insurance. Or even Watson if he can't go on an IR/NA slot if your team has it.

I felt like Hollywood was a bit of a reach when I picked him, but looking at that round I'm not sure where else I would have went... I didn't need another RB yet with CMC & Naj so I was targeting a WR. Outside of Renfrow or Mooney, there wasn't much there lol.

    1. J.K. Dobbins(Bal - RB)
    2. Marquise Brown(Ari - WR)
    3. Rhamondre Stevenson(NE - RB) .
    4. Hunter Renfrow(LV - WR)
    5. Chase Edmonds(Mia - RB)
    6. Josh Jacobs(LV - RB)
    7. Miles Sanders(Phi - RB)
    8. Rashaad Penny(Sea - RB)
    9. Damien Harris(NE - RB)
    10. Clyde Edwards-Helaire(KC - RB)
    11. Michael Thomas(NO - WR)
    12. Darnell Mooney(Chi - WR)

Good idea on the Hubbard insurance pick, might have to do that early on just incase. Watson isn't IR eligible, but I felt like because I punted the QB position and wound up with Dak that getting a top 5 QB for fantasy playoffs was worth the stash.
