It was all Demko now it's all Campbell lol. Pengwin swung the vote. It will be close. Like I said Campbell for upside Demko for safety.

Truly, I think either choice is fine.
I think Campbell is on the stronger team... and I default to "Wins" for goalie as the only really secure fantasy stat.
SV% and GAA can go quickly up or down depending on where a goalies head is at (SV%) and whether the defensive F&D are healthy (Shots Against * SV% translates to the GAA).
I just like EDM much more (especially this current roster) than VAN.
Over at the athletic, Dom & team have the following point projetions based on their roster builds:
EDM: 100.3pts
VAN: 91.7pts
*So, the difference of 9pts is about 4.5wins... with backups playing 20%... maybe a 4W difference btw a 60-70 start Demko and a 60-70 start Campbell.
That said, he also has goalie score values (GSVA), which amount to:
Campbell: 1.7
Demko: 3.1
So... Demko is (and I agree) the better pure-self goalie these days...
But what's the value of the team around you towards fantasy stats.
It's a hard call... and again... either choice is fine, I think... I just prefer "team security" over "independent goalie skill" if it's anywhere near close.
OP will have to determine how the goalie's main skill contribution (SV%) weights in comparison to the team-affected stats (W, GAA).
I ended up drafting Campbell with my first choice.
Then somehow Ullmark ended up falling to me in the 10th round.
I noticed the Swayman GM had drafted Logan Thomspon, but not Adin Hill so I grabbed Hill.
Post draft we made an Adin Hill for Jeremy Swayman deal with a couple extra pieces to even things out.
Pretty happy with how everything turned out.
Icing on the cake is Swayman is farm eligible for my league for at least the next two seasons.

If its for this season you gotta go Campbell
It's early but Demko has been a disaster this year. Campbell hasn't been much better but he's been better than Demko. Easy to say both have been early season disappointments.
