Byfield for 4th pick overall ?

Would you trade Quinton Byfield for the 4th pick overall (slafkosky, wright, cooley, Jesper Bratt are available in my draft)?

I would take Bratt and Wright over Byfield for sure. Not sure about Slaf or Cooley though. So it's kind of a toss up to me.

Since it's a points only pool, Byfield loses out a bit since he has the potential (keyword here is "potential") to be a multi-cat stud, but with only points, going to take him time to get there wherein Bratt should be good for 60+ immediately with upshot of maintaining his 70+ point pace, Wright I like better for production in the short-term as well.

This is right. If you're competing now, Bratt. If you're rebuilding, Byfield.

Agree with consensus so far. Long-term (3 years or so) I think Byfield has the biggest upside. If I'm playing to win now, Bratt. Is your team championship caliber now? Down the road?

I would ask are you guaranteed to get Bratt with the 4th overall? I would take byfueld over really any of those prospects as I still think he has huge upside, and if you’re rebuilding I’d stay put. If you’re competing and you are pretty certain you can get Bratt at 4 then do it.

That's what was coming into my head. How do you even know Bratt will be available at 4th overall? If I were in that draft, I'd be taking Bratt before any of the kids in the draft this year.

Byfield's value isn't great right now but if you have him and the guy with 4th overall wants him, maybe he'd be willing to add to that in which case I think you'd prob take the deal.
