Yeah but that strategy didn't work all that well for those who used it last year. Goalies are so hard to predict.

Same here though, goalies were my downfall in the Dobber league (roto) last year.
I honestly have no idea how to project the goalie stats or the importance of them in a league such as this. I'm supposing they are somewhere near as useful as ordinary..?
Yahoo Limited keeper: keep up to 8 players from the preceding season, but 2 of them has to be dropped at the end of the season, decided before the start. 'Keep eligible players' from draft round 11 and later, or undrafted.

We have two counting stats (W and Svs) and two quality stats (GAA, Sv%) plus a random stat (SHO) so you can either go goalie heavy and go for the counting stats at the possible expense of the quality stats. Or you can target a couple top end goalies and bank on the quality stats at the possible expense of the counting stats. As goalies are so hard to predict, it's basically a crapshoot to me.

Well right now we made 26 picks and 5 of them are goalies, 4 are d-man, the rest (17) are forwards.

With 2G spots 2x14 = 28 goalies will be picked at minimum. They start to get really scarce at that point.
Seeing how there is no roster management for this one, it just adds to the goalies that play. The better goalies are a little easier to predict as well, imo anyway.
Could maybe take some predictability out of it by going for a tandem like Boston's. Now your predicting how the team does which is easier to do then predicting how many games, say Swayman, will get.

Very surprised Connor went that low. He's a borderline top-15 pick in my mind.

It was between him and Fox for me, hemmed and hawed over that one, may regret it.

I've never been a big Kyle Connor guy in these sorts of leagues. You've got to respect the durability and upward trajectory, but he has mostly been just an empty calories points guy. Last season the worm certainly turned with another level hit in scoring, shot volume and PP production. If he does that again, he's elite enough everywhere else to cover the lack of hits/blocks.

I chose between him and Stamkos, but the latter is older and has had som injuries before. Hopefully Connor can at the very least, continue the same way from last season.
16 team h2h keeper league. G, A, Pim, PPP, Shp, Sog, FW, Hit, Blk, Win, GAA, SV, SV%, Sho.
Keep up to 8 players, 2 of them must be dropped after the following season. In bold keeper to next season.
    J Robertson, A Kempe, L Hughes, J Slafkovsky, L Carlsson, D Guenther, J Daccord (droppable), J Lauzon (droppable)

Yeah, you're absolutely right. He will offer next to thing in hits, blocks and PIM. I think I'm already a believer the offense and shot volume is there to nullify that but I don't think you're wrong for wanting to see it another time before believing it's the norm.

Hey someone had to play golf. And I eagled the par-5 first hole. After that I was picking only when I got home. ⛳️

And I figured Sorokin would learn that he’s the 7th GK taken in our draft, get pissed about it, then have a great year to spite all of you !
