NHL Mock Draft 2022-2023 - Discussion

Okay, we are locked in at 14 now and will do the draft order tonight. Stay tuned.

Again forgive any newbie naive questions here, but how will we know which skaters / goalies have been drafted when our turn comes up? I assume we won't have to constantly monitor online for all 24 or whatever rounds, so is Fantrax updated so that you can quickly search a player's name and if he's there he's eligible?

Fantrax will be updated as we go.
It won't be updated automatically it will happen as pmorrow or myself is able to make the updated.

There will also be a new thread set up that is specific for the draft.
The first post of the thread will have a running record of the picks.
Again - it won't be updated in real time - but it will be updated regularly

...and it's off. This feels very unprepared compared to how I usually go into drafts, not that I research things all that in depth ordinary either.. but I suppose it's called a Mock Draft league for a purpose. Good luck all!

Already a G off the board! I love that it's Shesty over Vas. I think he'll be the best fantasy goalie for a while.

Felt like the right play here. I was too far down the order to get any of the no-brainer skaters who went above me, but I'm too high in the order to guarantee an elite G if there's a run later on. In a league this size, goalies will be a little tougher to come by. So grab the #1 on the board and see if I can spark the goalie run myself.
