I've got an offer in a keep 15 league to send Wheeler in exchange for Lafrenier. My team is lacking some hits and a LW. Thinking Laf could do both and is primed for a break out. Should I do it?

In a keep 15 league, I take that deal no questions asked. Wheeler is on the decline and at 35, has limited time left. While Laf may not live up to the initial hype, I still think he will become a ppg left wing who gets some peripherals. And in a keep 15, you have enough slots that you can justify keeping him even if he needs another year or so to break out.

I'd do it as well. YOu lose the deal if Lafreniere doesn't ever take a step to be a 60-70 point guy.

The timing on this is perfect. I believe Laf is about to break. Disgruntled owners who though he would be a monster as a 19 year old in the NHL are losing patience and you have the opportunity to take advantage of that. Perfect, do it. Wheeler has some gas left in the tank but the tank is getting empty. You may take a slight step backwards this year but you have secured a very nice piece of the future if you make this deal.
