    Default Murray vs Francouz?

    Hi all,

The Georgiev owner also owns Murray and Grubauer.

Would you trade Francouz to get either one of them or do I hope Francouz emerges as the starter and I hold on to him?

    Any feedback is always appreciated!

I would rather have a guy who has less starts but excellent numbers than a guy who potentially has a lot more starts and puts up abysmal numbers. That's Francouz vs Grubauer/Murray IMO.

    Francouz, and it's not close.

Murray is Jordan Binnngton light. Don't believe me?

    Similarities:
Both came in and secured a Cup win for a good team that needed a goalie - Murray due to injury, Binnington due to goalie suckitude. Murray did split starts during a second Cup win for Pittsburgh.
Both were All-Rookie goalies with significant Calder votes
Both were not good last year by most measures.

    Differences:
The 2 worst seasons these guys have put up both belong to Murray. Murray hasn't been actually good since 18-19.
Binnington still is in the city where he won the Cup, and will be treated as such. Murray is on his second franchise, and was barely the man in Pittsburgh once Fleury left, as he slipped.
    Murray is very injury prone.
Binningotn has gotten Vezina votes, and significant All-Star votes.

    You want not Murray.

I can see a world where they end up starting a similar amount of games with Murray's injuries and Georgievs potential growing pains. You could even see more starts from PF and his numbers will probably be better.
