Buchnevich (3x5.8M) - Best player but 6x the cap of the rest
Lafreniere (1x925k) - Cheap and farthest along his development out of the prospects but also hasn't really hit his stride. Due for a new contract after this year
Byfield (2x894k) - Similar case to Laf but a little farther behind in development but that means more time to reach his potential
Wright (3x925k) - Didn't quite meet expectations this season which has mellowed out expectations in the NHL - still rated as the #1 prospect (0 NHL gp) in the league by the dobber report

Buchnevich - a PPG guy for 6mm is great value
Lafreniere - I don't expect a lot but I think he's in the best position out of the remaining three
Wright - He'll struggle but Montreal will give him more opportunity than Byfield will get in LA in the next 2-3 years
Byfield - He came on in the second half but he's stuck in the bottom six for the next 2-3 years, which is what you're looking at. Long-term I really like Byfield.

Buch and Lafreniere.
I expect the other two to take some time, but I think Lafreniere is getting close to breaking out. It could be next season we see him take that first leap.

Buch and Laf for me as well. The reasons have already been touched on. Down the road this likely changes, but for the next 2 or 3 years certainly Buch will deliver and Laf is in the best position to take the next steep and also contribute to your team.
