Who would you rather have short and long term in a dynasty league?

Points only league (2points for G, 1 point for A)

That's a tough one as it's based off of opportunity. If Barrie gets moved out, then easily Bouchard. If Barrie doesn't, then I don't know for sure if Bouchard will get that PP1 time, but I would expect him to get it eventually.

If Klingberg comes back, then Heiskanen gets nerfed.

I think the way it stands, Heiskanen will out perform Bouchard in 2022-23, then from 2023 onwards, then it's Bouchard as Barrie should be out of the picture (assuming he's def gone in 2023-24 as Bouchard needs his next deal)

I think Bouchard, but situation and the presence of other older skaters, as noted above, is the primary factor here.

i think we selling off Miro too quick. I dont think they will be that different. Remember that Miro does not have prime offensive minutes either and i think he will after this summer.

i would probably pick Miro here tbh as he is more well rounded and will have more ice time as a whole , at least for next few years.

I think Miro can certainly handle and produce if given a scoring role, but I worry that Dallas is going to Drew Doughty him and temper his offensive deployment because he's so good in all phases. Bouchard, by contrast, especially if Barrie leaves, would probably be given the prime offensive minutes, I'd think. But again, we're speculating at this point.

unless Harley can pick it up i think Miro will be given PP time by default once Klinberg leaves. And even if he plays defensive minutes 5v5 he will be on the ice enough to pick up points but yeah its speculation ofcrouse...but i do think that reason its Bouchard not Miro for most is cause Miro had down year....i never look at recency bias but at a player as a whole...

Both nice options but while it's easy to get a love on for the Oilers offence and Bouchard's potential role, all of that is conjecture at this point. For me, Heiskanen is simply the better offensive defensemen and that's all she wrote (:

Too close to call for me. Both are good options, and would be happy to have either.

Interesting piece in today's ramblings on this years trophy winners and predictions for next years winners. Next year, the Norris, Miro Heiskanen. For what it's worth.

I still think I would take Miro here. Especially in a redraft league. I could see Bouchard going ahead of him and Miro just falling a few rounds later.
