Nope. Bobrovsky is too good as a return, unless they package Hart & Provorov. Think Gibson or lower tier than that as a return for just Hart & maybe a pick, since the Flyers are upgrading to a veteran.

Florida might want to do that, but:

1. Does Torts really like Bobrovsky?
I don't know the answer to this.

2. Do the Flyers want to trade for an ex-Flyer goalie that one of the higher up braintrust stupidly dealt away?
I suspect they would prefer to not bring him back to save face.

3. Should Florida want more in return for Bobrovsky, knowing that they are dealing with Chuck Fletcher?
Absolutely, Fletcher is a moron.

4. Would Fletcher prefer to get a different goalie that was won something, or at least reached the Stanley Cup Finals?

You are vastly overestimating Chuck Fletcher's competence.

Remember he's a guy who recently helped the Sharks with a cap crunch by taking Justin Braun off their hands without any cap retained and gave up 2nd and 3rd round picks to do that. The Ristolainen deal, the Gostisbehere deal, he just loses deals badly left and right.

Let's be realistic here if we think that Torts is really going to make a huge immediate splash and turn this Flyers franchise around. They have several players like JVR ,Hayes, and Risto who are lazy and I don't even think will be able to survive the playing style of Torts.

What is going to actually happen is the team will still suck and Torts will rant and rave and build up some fines and eventually will either get tired of the whole deal and quit or say something wrong to the GM or Owner and be fired.

One thing for sure it will be exciting to watch.
