The thing I need most is hits and Blks and Theodore doesn’t do that but I’m still considering this as it’d allow me to open a roster spot by dropping gio. I’m currently over the roster limit.
I also like the idea of Eichel rebounding and him having a better year

I'd also do this. Makar, Theodore, DeAngelo and Toews is a very nice core. However, you have some work to do filling out your D if you are going to have competitive numbers in the hits and blocks categories. If you can do that, then this trade is sure looking good, but if not, your hurting in 33% of your scoring cats. Not great balance. Just sayin'

I'd want Theodore. Finding the grit categories will be easier.

The Theodore deal ended up falling through. I ended up trading Thomas for Marchand. I think I did well here
