just looking for some outside opinions
keeper league where we keep 30 of our 40 players - we can keep as many prospects as we want in lieu of cutting more veterans .
my team is competitive and would prefer to strike a 5 veteran , 5 minor players balance in my cuts .

5 guys I'm tossing out:
Jakub Skarek - Cause he's a young goalie in another league, you have Cossa. Skarek is likely yrs away from coming over
Josh Doan - If he sniffs the NHL, poor guys on Arizona and I don't know how large of an impact he'd have
Sam Bolduc - If you have time to see if he'll be on the NHL roster then wait. If not, it's not a huge guy who'll put up points. But if he's on the NHL roster it's an NHL player?
William Dufour - This is prolly not the guy people will pick. But due to his little name value, you might be able to get him again easier. However he should be a guy you don't want to give up.
So this isn't 5 guys. But it is def a couple of names. Like others have said it's a crap shoot and they're all the same draft pedigree. Sorry I couldn't help more.

I like Dewar as someone that can be a 3rd liner thats scores 15 g and maybe climbs into the top 6 if an injury arises . He's definately one of the more ''ready'' to play guys on my farm but probably re-draftable in a later round .Originally Posted by lesgoelands

yeah Doan is on the chopping block for sure
Bolduc was injured to start season and in typical Lou fashion we'll never know what the injury was . This league uses hits/blocks so the 2nd pair D that put up 20 points and good hits/block have good depth value
I can probably cut Skarek and maybe redraft with late pick since I have Cossa and pro roster starter Vasilevskiy .
Dufours QMJHL goals may or may not translate into NHL success but he's heading to the AHL so we'll see how his game progresses soon enough . I think he's worth a keeper slot

Of the guys you haven't mentioned, I'd want to keep Colangelo & Mysak.

thanks for the replies . I ended up cutting more prospects in lieu of keeping more pro-roster players .
you can technically add owen power and lucas raymond to this list but I pretty much consider them pro's even though they qualify for minors section too .
