This should be a damn good series, the two best teams in the league this year IMO. I went Bolts in 6. It looks like Vasi is back in the groove and if that remains the case throughout this series that could well be the determining factor.

I believe Colorado is the best team this season and I imagine they were my cup pick before the season started. However, after watching Vasi do what hes been doing.....hard to not think goaltending will be key in this series as the Avs goalies have been leaky more than a few times so far this playoffs.

Either TB will 3-peat or Corey Perry will have lost 3 times in the finals in a row for different teams. I would rather the former haha

It's hard not to respect what TB has done since being swept by Columbus in 2019.
That being said, this Colorado team is just as special in my eyes. You could say getting over their 2nd round hump was just like TB overcoming their sweep at the hands of the Jackets.
They'll also be the best team the Bolts have faced in the Finals by a large margin. No offense to Dallas and Montreal (and I'm a Habs fan) but Colorado has more skill and depth than both of them combined.
However, I feel like even if mostly every fan base will be behind Colorado and that they have home ice, that might also make them feel more pressure to be the team to finally slay the beast. Tampa also has the big edge in goal.
Anyway, I hope the Avs win and I pick them to do it in 7. Should be an excellent series either way.

Avs in 5. If it’s a longer series I can see TB taking it. Avs gotta knock them out as soon as possible, don’t let them off the hook. Vas still scares me, he’s the it factor for me.
