Default Who's better than the first overall?

    Hi everyone,
if you are in a win now situation in a keeper league, points only with no position, who's better to own for next season than the first overall 2022?

If a use the Dobber ranking, is Josi (rank 35th), or Kyrou (rank 55th) or Bjorkstrand (rank 75th) good value for the first overall 2022?

    Thanks in advance

If "win now" is the primary factor, then Josi is the only choice.

    Thanks for the answer.

Would you say that Lindholm (rank 30th) or J. Robertson (rank 25th) could be ask?

More information about your team is needed. If you have a gigantic hole in your D corps, then Josi will probably help you win more than Robertson. Robertson in there is intriguing, especially given the age disparity between him and Josi. But if your team gets a better 2022-23 boost from Josi, as opposed to Robertson, then per the "win now" directive, Josi might be the better choice. Josi's year this past year feels like a career year. Robertson will probably do the same next year as last year, perhaps even better if the Stars change their system to provide more offense.

You reference Dobber Rankings, and they are a quality reference. But unless you have to make a move in the next week or so, you may want to check out his guide later this summer to gauge point predictions and determine what fit suits your team best.

i think you need to study the teams you want to trade with...anybody in win now mode would not do that..even if i was rebuilding first overall would not be enough for likes of Josi if you asked me...

Generally speaking, I approach fantasy leagues with three years window at a time. Otherwise, rebuilds take forever.
With that in mind, I easily take Josi, Kyrou, Robertson and Lindholm over the first overall this year. Especially in a win-now mode.
If Connor Bedard was available, it would be another story.

Josi if you feel like trying to win next year. Tough to find point per game (or even close to that) dmen, let alone ones that have the potential to reach 100 points.
