Yeah sounds like a player who'd made his money, career winding down as we know and wanted to be in Toronto. I doubt the $$$ had any real significance to a new deal.

They could. But so far, it feels like Letang isn't likely to return. Malkin is more probable.

Interesting. I guess it depends on who you are reading, but I've read that Letang is more likely to return and Malkin isn't. Safe to say no one really knows who's going to go or stay at this point. Stand by to stand by.
