Hi all,

Roto Multicat League - G - A- Shots- PPP- PIMs- Hits - Blocks - Takeaways (Goalie - W - SHO - Save% and GAA)

Finished 2nd this year, team is on the improve. Now I have to sort out my 6 eligible 'prospects'.

One consideration is my goalies. I will keep Jarry. I can keep Lehner or Bob too, but Id lose a good fwd (Konency or Tuch) So if Husso is a starter next year, that might help me a lot.nHeres my options in my rough order:

Krebs
Marchment
Romanov

Bunting, I guess as the production is there, although I'd likely try to deal him before he prices himself out of Toronto and his deployment is not as ideal.

I like Guenther here at 6. Marchment might also apply under the Bunting principle outlined above, but Marchment is older and his pricing out likely happens this summer.

After that I’d say it’s some combo of 2 of marchment bunting krebs and guenther. It’s hard because I almost feel like how can marchment and bunting be prospects. Since you finished 2nd I guess I’d pick krebs and marchment

I think Laf, Zegras, and Knight are a lock. The last 3 slots are a little trickier.

I'd be tempted to keep a second goalie. But while I like Husso, I'm not as high on him as some others, and it depends on where he goes (or doesn't) as a UFA. I could see an argument for Ned, and even Kahkonen in San Jose. But I would wait until free agency if you can, and see where some chips fall.

For the last 2 slots, Krebs and Bunting jump out to me. Krebs has the pedigree, and Bunting has fantastic deployment if he can maintain his spot on Toronto's top line. But I might also give some consideration to Romanov. I think he is a great fit for your league setup.

I like the top 6 in the order you listed them. Guenther might have higher upside than Krebs but Krebs is already pretty much set for the Top-6 on a team that could start getting really good next season. We don't even know if Guenther will play a full season next year.

I would actually go with Zegras, Laffy, Bunting, Husso, Kahkonnen. Bob won't be the forever solution for Florida but he retains good trade value and Knight won't be getting much while he's under contract. Add in the fact that goalies are voodoo and I would hedge my bets by keeping 2 of the goalies most likely to get the best opportunities. I don't think you gain enough from keeping any of the other skaters in question to spend a spot on them. You can likely acquire similar talent through trades or waivers.

I'd keep:

Zegras, Lafreniere - obvious
Knight -since you are keeping Bobrovsky
Bunting - role and production to good to ignore
Romanov - Fits your league very nicely.

plus one of Krebs or Marchment.

You have enough goalies to pick from, that I think one would be there in the draft, or you could possibly trade one or more for a further out prospect.
