Losing your main goalie at this time is not great... but the system and the coaching in Carolina can afford a lesser goalie to still do good.

The way Andersen rehabbed last yr with the Leafs really makes me think he won't be back anytime soon. During the Amazon Prime special, there was scenes where the trainers are telling Keefe/Dubas that Andersen's knee (pretty sure it was knee) is fully healed, they were just waiting on Andersen to say he's good to go. And Keefe seemed pissed that he was waiting on Andersen to say he was ready.

So it might be getting to the point of Andersen won't hurry back for the teams sake. He'll come back when he's ready, which 100% power to him. His knees won't be thanking him in 2050 if he rushes back to get reinjured.
