Hey guys, just looking for opinions on this trade offer. The players in my signature are a little dated but for the most part right minus the top prospects.
My team is in the finals right now but the shesterkin owner is looking to move him this off season. My team has made it to the finals two years in a row now.

You could argue that the Rangers are getting better also.
I think it's a reasonable price to pay for one of the best goalies in the game, but I'm also a biased Igor owner.
If it were me I would accept it and recoup assets slowly down the road.
Igor is going to be a stud for many more years.

I would make that trade in a heartbeat. I think Shesterkin will be the best goalie in the league over the next 5 years.

I would do this.
There's a chance it's good for both teams, due to depth helping, plus the other side getting good players back.

Goalies will always be voodoo.
This is a decent deal for you though but I don't think you should be sending a goalie back. You should be aiming to keep Petersen as well instead of pinning all your hopes on Shesterkin.

I don't think you're overpaying here, but you are getting the best player in the deal so I'd do it. Your 2023 1st should be lottery protected, but I think Shestkerin is legit. Petersen will be an above average goalie on a good team, but he is much more replaceable than Shestkerin.

This is a good idea, but the other team should reject any offer without a decent goalie option coming back, unless they have 2 high end options already. You can give it a shot though, and hope they are dumb.Originally Posted by random-d

If you have Swayman, I'll do it. Your 2 G would be Swayman+Shesterkin and then have Price, Vadar, and potentially Francouz as options. I understand wanting to keep Peterson, but I wouldn't allow the deal to fall apart if it can't be done without Peterson.
