Just for clarification... you have enough information and experience to say for certain without any doubt that there are more wheels then doors at laying hen farm? or is that your opinion?

Is there a definition stated for either?

Wheels = rotating around an axis? (this would include conveyor belts, etc)
Doors = hinged opening? (do windows now count, if they hinge open? But screen doors are doors, and they slide, so are we now looking a openings be either open or closed by operation of an attached cover? Does this bring in drawers now?)

This is a rabbit hole of an fathomable depth

Is there actually an answer to this question or are we all just spinning our "wheels"?

The debate is friendly and healthy and opens plenty of "doors" to other discussions ?

Is this a serious question? Of all the responses to this fun opinion-poll thread, are you singling out chuckcouples to provide empirical evidence for his answer?

Wheels, hands down, no doubt, 100%. For all the many good reasons already mentioned.

I did wonder if "doors" should include the various battery compartment covers on toys and electronics (many of us call those "doors" and there's probably 10 of them visible to me just sitting at my desk) and thinking about cars that would include the flap for the gas tank, possibly the glove box "door", cassette bay "door", etc, but still wheels, all day, every day.

It's my opinion but I did ask my friend who has 6 chickens and he tells me that in his chicken coop, he has 11 doors (including the gate to the enclosure) and 232 wheels on his conveyor belt. He did not count the two old tires that are on ground in the enclosure since a tire is not a wheel.

In the end, I wheelie, wheelie can't say for sure.

Why would you need a conveyer belt for 6 chickens?!!

It could be for the manure and not the eggs, left over from a larger operation.
    Just guessing.
