Barkov + for JT Miller +
Need advice ASAP
Currently in the lead so don’t need to change much but have been offered Barkov and Montour for my Miller, Francouz, and Newhook. Love Barkov but really hard to stomach next years hit as with Kaprizov and Marner I have some big contracts to take into account. In our leagues settings next year JT and Newhook would cost me 5,450,000 as both would be keepers and Barkov will cost 12m.
Wonder others opinions. Love Barkov and his scoring potential as well as owning Huberdeau and Ekblad to pair him with, especially considering we run a separate Playoff Pool.
Would you take this deal for Barkov and have to draft good salaries next year or keep what you have?

That is what my common sense is telling me. I currently have a 269 point lead over second and this year barring anything crazy should be able to win. Just wondering if long term its worth adding another elite goal scorer to my keeper roster (even at the high cost) while I can because once Millers contract and Newhook's ELC expires next year I won't be able to get someone like Barkov in return. I think he is also upset because he owned Francouz(drafted) and Newhook(keeper) this season and dropped them both.
It is a big contract for Barkov going forward but the way salaries are rising maybe in the long run it actually is worth the hit. It would lock in a strong core of keepers for me going into next year and would just have to draft smart.
If I did the trade my keepers/salaries would be...
