I would go Vasilevsky. Both are close in age, but I’m taking Vas here.

Just so I am understanding correctly, your league is not a cap league, and the offer was straight up, Vasilievskiy for Sheshterkin?

As long as it's not a cap league or something where there is variable cost to keep (such as round picked) or length of time you can keep them, I'm taking Vasilevskiy.

I am pretty sure Tampa is better than the Rangers for win volume.

Give me Vas here too. Shesterkin is the nice shiny new toy, but he's not much younger than Vas, salaries don't count, and Vas has the impeccable resume.

Shesterkin is currently the best goalie in the league IMO. And he's been elite for the last several years at every stop so I am not worried about a small sample size. The only reason I consider Vasi is because of playing for Tampa. But this is fantasy so I am not afraid to make a mistake- give me Shesterkin for the next 5 years.

Vas. I wouldn't even hesitate in a keeper.

If there's a difference between Shes and Vas, it won't be enough to make you lose weeks. But you get the historically better goalie. And Vas is only 1 yr older, it's not like Igor is a few yrs younger.

I’d take Vasilevskiy over Shesterkin still, but he’s the only goalie I’d take over him in a keeper so can’t go wrong with either one.

Vasilevskiy, with the caveat that Shestyorkin could turn out to be the right answer. But the past history and present team makeup make me go with Vas.

I’m surprised it’s mostly Vas. Shesterkin has a .938 save % and 2.05 Gaa. Both tops in the league this year.

Both are excellent and the cream of the crop. Vasilevskiy is still the best goalie in the league for me.
