Vrana worth an add?

Hey guys,

Another question for you: do you think Vrana is worth an add at this point for a points only league. I wouldn't hesitate except for the fact that my IR is already full. Is there anyone on my roster you guys would want him over for the rest of the season? Thinking of adding him for Giroux or Laine when he is a little closer to return.

Giroux might be a candidate to go to a contending team. The fact that Vrana has been out so long and that Bertuzzi and Larkin have been clicking leads me to suspect that Vrana will not immediately be a high-end producer upon his re-entry. Detroit doesn't have anything to play for and thus has no need to rush Vrana back.

I think he's a wait and see for now as I don't see any obvious drops just yet. Yeah, with your IR situation as well you will need to make adjustments, especially with Ehlers hurt. Also, given that you're in a 8 team league there may be some decent players still available (making an assumption, of course), Vrana may not be the most productive option when he comes back. He could have some rust so I'm not sure he's a must add given your situation.

There honestly aren't many decent players left available, thats why I'm considering Vrana... but I do agree there are no obvious drops
