Starting new league- slow draft this year...

Will be weekly locks with points based scoring- goal and sog heavy. Partial keepers (15 out of 25) there are 3-4 of us committed already- aiming for 12-14.

3C, 5W, 1FF, 4D, 2G with a 10 man bench. 3 round prospect draft each year.

The idea is to get a good group of guys together- fine tune the rules to everyones enjoyment and then do a long slow draft over the rest of the season for next year.

Were roughly halfway there! Like I said its a slow draft this year for next year. I know a lot of leagues have hit the mid season lull- what better way to re-invigorate your passon for the game than drafting a new team!!??

Yes there are eague prizes= the fatrax fes come out first and then the rest ges to payputs with the majority towards playoff wins.

Its weekly hth scoring where you get 4 points for goal, 3 points foran assist and half a point per sog and pim. So if a guy gets 2 goals an assist 5 sogs ad 2 pims he gets 14,5 pims. You add up all your players for the whole week like that and compare it agaist that weeks opponent and you get a Win/Lod record which determies your playoff eligibility nd standings/ Mke sense?

I’m not Emu, but I joined this league. We started the draft with 7 teams and then it got suspended mid-way through round 2. Nobody has heard anything for about 2 weeks.

I think Emu must be busy, because he has also been MIA for 3 weeks in another league he joined.

I got really F’d over. We started this draft a month ago and then it just stopped with no warning 1 pick before Round 3.

I’ve heard nothing from Emu, nobody has, and we can’t quit the league and/or get our money back because Fantrax says the draft is in progress.

I hesitated replying here, but after about 5 emails to Emu, countless chat messages, PM’s…nothing. Silence.

I was even warned in a PM from another Dobber member about joining Emu’s leagues, but I got the message too late.

I'm curious as to why you had to pay 30$ if your were supposedly using the rest of the season to draft for next year (unless I missed the point somewhere)

I suppose if you all paid 30$ he could make himself the winner this year and forward the fee's collected/paid out to him to represent everyones fee for 22-23
