Trade Samsonov to secure Boston duo?

Right now I'm rolling with Markstrom, Brossoit, Rask and Samsonov. Thinking of offering Samsonov for Ullmark, trading/dropping Brossoit and going with Markstrom, Rask/Ullmark.
Interested to hear peoples thoughts on this potential trade.

The plan makes sense. None of the players involved are keepers. It seems unlikely that Samsonov is going to seize the job and be the primary in Washington, at least this year. Only caveat is that with Rask in the fold, Ullmark is probably the 50% starter at best, so you're not getting more goalie starts.

I don't like it unless you do some math to be confident that Markstrom+Rask+Ullmark = more wins than Markstrom+Rask+Samsonov. I'm not sure it does. It also gives you one less team which could result in less goalie starts for you depending on scheduling.

I may be in the minority but I think Samsonov is better than Vanecek and that will materialize down the stretch.

I dont mind trading Samsonov vs Ullmark. Neither are keepers and both will share starts down the road.
