Default Time to Drop Blackwood? (WILL REP)

Is it now clear that Blackwood is just a mid range goalie at best and it's time to part ways? Not for league in sig. We start one goalie per night and my other main starter is Vasi. On my farm I can call up Petersen, Vejmelka, Luukkonen and Gillies. I could drop Blackwood and pick up Quick and have the LA tandem. Reimer is also available (yuck). Goalie cats are W, L, GAA, SV, SV%, SHO.

I've watched Blackwood a lot and he has shown flashes of his potential but he just keeps disappointing me time and time again. Should I drop and just go with Vasi and farm goalies? Drop and pick up Quick? Will rep where possible.

I’ve been trying to move Blackwood since the beginning of the season and no one wants him in my league. I hate to drop of him because of the potential but if you think it helps your team win, then go ahead and do so. If you could try and move him first, that would be in your best interest. Best of luck!

I'm not sold on Blackwood either but I don't think New Jersey is deep enough on D to judge his play when they are missing their best defenseman (although they aren't very good defensively even with Hamilton in the lineup). When I watch them, they give up too many high danger scoring chances (don't know the analytics on this but they don't pass my eye test defensively) which would hurt any goalie. Look at Gibson the last few years and then this year. But if you are shooting for the win I think I rather have L.A.'s tandem, atm. So if no one has any interest in Blackwood, I say, do whatchu gotta do! Also, New Jersey is a few years away, imo, that division is just too strong for them atm.

If Reimer is yuck, Blackwood is barf this year, if not worse.

I'd drop blackwood for sure, and grab Quick or Reimer. Better teams, and better goalies, for this year at least.

If you keep ALL every year, then I'd keep Blackwood and not pick up Quick. If they're both non-keepers anyways, then go for Quick.

What you see is what you get. Ya, Blackwood is very average and can shit the bed in the blink of an eye. Problem is, you could say that about most of the goalies in the NHL. Pick your poison! The LA lock might be good for you. Or, hold Blackwood and hope for the best.

Thanks for the advice guys! It's a full keeper so it's either drop Blackwood for Quick for the LA tandem or hold onto him and have him waste a spot on my bench as I have no faith in him this year. There's no interest in him and I imagine if I drop him someone will pick him up but honestly having Quick with Petersen gives me a better chance at winning this year. I'm currently in 3rd and have beaten the other 4 teams in the top 5 so I'm confident in my team. And having Vasi as my main goalie when we only start one per night is a pretty big advantage. Still trying to decide what to do. It's a tough one. Any other help would be greatly appreciated gents.
