Dynasty points only - Offered Podkolzin for Byram

i currently have Byram and was offered Podkolzin + a 1st round pick for him. Would you trade for Podkolzin or gamble on Byram returning? Since its points only, podkolzin has a little bit less value?

i do have Makar, Heiskanen, Seth Jones as my start 3D so i could keep Byram. Just that long term i am not sure if he's ever returning (and hard to justify starting 2 of the same team with Makar in a start 3D weekly) so may be worth getting a return for him.

Podkolzin + a 1st for Byram would normally be an offer I would have to think about before countering with a bit more coming back... However, Byram no longer falls into that "normally" category to me. He has a deep/long history of concussions dating back through his Junior career. We all know that a person never truly recovers from a concussion and that they become more prone to future concussions and the severity of them increases. In no way am I thinking that Byram is done, but I would view him as damaged goods going forwards. Podkolzin has all the earmarks of a quality secondary scorer on a potentially offensively dynmaic team, when/if VAN gets their ducks in a row. 1sts are always a nice piece to have, whether you use it for drafting or as a trade chip... somebody always over values a 1st round pick.
