Default Roster for the final run

My signature isn't 100% accurate. Too many players injured or in protocol to keep track of. Once I get heathy and IF Evander Kane signs, I need to trim my roster and drop some pretty good forwards. No one is in trade mode as I've tried some 2 for 1 offers. So based on an 18 man roster my team will be as follows (16 of 18).

    C-McDavid, Eichel, JT Miller
    L-Guentzel, Robertson, Lindholm
    R-Kucherov, Batherson, E. Kane
    4-D-men
    3-Goalies

Here's what's left over (need to pick 2)
    Terry (R)
    Duclair (L/R)
    Verhaeghe (C/L) currently on waivers
    Wheeler (C/R) currently on IR
    Arvidsson (L/R)
    R. Smith (R)
    Zuccarello (R)

    10 team H2H !Y League (4 keepers - at least 1 must be a D-man OR Goalie)
    Start - 2C, 2L, 2R, 1U, 3D, 2G, 6Bench, 2IR, 2IR+ (Daily) (5 moves per week)
    Skaters - G, A, +/-, PPP,
    PIM, HITS, BS, GWG, SOG
Goalies - Wins, Saves, S%, GAA (Min. 4 starts)
    Championships 2007, 2009, 2012, 2016, 2017,
    2019*, 2023

    C-McDavid, Trocheck, Thomas
    L-B.Tkachuk(C/L), Forsberg, Hyman(L/R)
    R-Svechnikov(L/R) Konecny(L/R) P. Kane, Zucc
    D-Dahlin, Josi, McAvoy, Montour
    G-DeSmith, Thompson, Hill, Grubauer
    IR

When I am looking at my last couple of depth players, my primary concern is not their total production, but how much of their production I can fit into my roster/schedule on a weekly basis (because if I can't get them into my lineup, it doesn't matter how many points they get). So I'd be looking at who has the best schedule for off-days. Dobber has a tool for schedule planning, and I believe the NHL is releasing an updated schedule soon, if they haven't already. Based on your roster, I assume you have a competitive team. So I'd be focusing on the playoff weeks, in particular.
    12 Teams, 23 Players (max 3 goalies), H2H, Keep 15 (max 2 goalies)
    2C, 2RW, 2LW, 2F, 1U, 4D, 2G, 8 Bench, 2 IR+
    G, A, +/-, PIM, PPP, HIT, BLK, W, SV, SV%, SHO

    Keepers:
C - Matthews, Eichel, Hughes (LW), Pettersson
LW - Kaprizov, Svechnikov (RW), Guentzel, Fiala, Keller (RW)
RW - Marner, Meier (LW), Laine(C/LW), Jarvis (C)
D - Dahlin, Sergachev, Theodore, Klingberg, Werenski, Peeke, Cernak
    G - Shesterkin, Sorokin, Merzlikins
    IR - Pacioretty, Ristolainen

    2023 Draft Picks: 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8

    **2021/22 League Champion**

Good point, I'll look into those weeks in particular. Yes I was running away with things until the latest covid wave. I'm a very underwhelming 1-3-1 in my past five weeks even being crushed by the last place team. I start to get healthy and then I'm not. I know everyone's going through it though.

I like Arvidsson here to remain consistent and deliver across many of your scoring cats. After that, this is tough. I'm thinking one of Duclair, Wheeler, Terry and Verhaeghe are your next best options. Arguments can be made for all four of these guys. Personally I think it boils down to track record and reliability and I don't have a warm and fuzzy in that respect for either Terry or Duclair and certainly the other options you have listed. Verhaeghe is sneaky good and I like his consistency. Wheeler is the wild card here. He had a slow start but started to light things up and then went down with the injury. If he can pick up where he left off prior to the injury he's likely your best option. Big if though. Can you wait till Wheeler comes off IR before making a decision? Verhaeghe is safer choice, but if Wheeler finds his game????
