In a tough spot goalie wise in my first league. I've got Rask, Samsonov, Grubauer and Swayman in a 14 team, keep 7 league. I've got the opportunity to acquire Mrazek and a 6th round pick but it will cost me Necas and a 9th. Would you do it?

I agree there are much better goalies to target. But it looks like Necas is a fairly easy drop and he'd be getting a pick upgrade out of it. So that's not bad asset management if you think Mrazek will stay healthy and play a regular amount of games for a back up. Also hard to know if there are any other goalies available at a reasonable cost.Originally Posted by This Guy

The best other goalie options are Allen, Stolarz, Vejmelka and Forsberg.

I just have a hard time moving any asset for a goalie like Mrazek. Hang on to what you have and take a shot on one of the FA's, any one of which could just as easily as not have a better ROS than Mrazek.

I'm also a win now mode team. It's a keep 7 and I've positioned my team well to take shots every year. Goalies however, can be an issue because Samsonov isn't exactly a lock as number 1 and Grubauer has been terrible.
I've been working to try and solidify the position all year.
