Smith is the 'safer' choice... although I don't think Dvorak will be that far behind come end of year.
But with Pasta clicking on the 2nd line, it ups Smith's chances of sticking with Bergeron/Marchand for the foreseeable future. That's way too of an ideal opportunity to not ride him ROS over a guy like Dvorak. If Smith stays, he'll likely be a much better own. If he doesn't, it'll be close. Go for the gamble imo.
