I think I steered a few people wrong with Giroux as an opener for Gordle. My bad. Maybe he was one of the three days I missed on here.
New opener I am using for 6s is Potvin, with Laine still for the 5s.

I've actually been hitting on several 3s over past month.

I will say, as soon as I hit on a couple letters, I'll go after the guess.
Yesterday I missed for first time in a LOOOONG time.
Had effin SCO after SCOUT and missed with SCOOP, SCOFF, and SCOWL.
(Shoulda gone with SCOWL first... but I rushed towards work-work and deadlines.)
Ooof.

There's been a lot of them that actually start with the A... and I'm always pissed when I find out on guess #4 or #5!

I had 1 or 2 Gordle misses...and then my stats were wiped. So I haven't played for a few months.

Still do both every morning. Had over 100 Wordles in a row, only missed actually doing it one day because I had a wedding. Trail is my wordle starter because I don't think it has been used yet. Then I usually do Mound or Mouse depending on how many vowels showed up in Trail.

Still 100% on the Gordles

I've used Mount a few times to start. Stare is another I use from time to time. I like the "e" on the end.

I start with LEAST and if I don't get a single letter I switch to POUND. Knocks out the majority of the popular letters and 4/5 vowels after 2 tries. MOIST is another good one to start with, but some people can't stand that word
