So do we think he's the starter now? If so, pretty insane value for cap leagues this year.

    Ullmark's $5 million cap hit says he's in a time-share at best.
I can't promise I'll try but I'll try to try.

It will be entirely performance based. Cassidy will be riding the hot hand for the rest of the season although Rask will likely be given a relatively long leash for the first month or so to get his legs under him.

Swayman holds no value in one year leagues now as long as Rask/Ullmark are healthy

I heard Swayman is to be demoted to Providence. Tough break for him as I personally believe he's their best goalie. But you've got to give Rask all the leeway he needs, he's still got the highest upside.

This shouldn't come as a surprise to anyone. They weren't going to trade Ullmark after signing him to a long term deal this past summer and Swayman is waiver free. This is the right thing to do, even if it doesn't feel that way.

Oh yeah, it's the logical move for sure.

Still, Swayman has to feel a bit frustrated by this whole situation. The Bruins aren't desperate for help in net but if Rask wants to come back, especially at that salary, they'd be fools not to take him up on it.

Perfect time to come back as it looks like the 8 playoff teams are already set in the East. Boston can just ease him into games and he'll be ready just in time to beat the Leafs in round 1.

in my mind, its a timeshare until rask takes over. too much history there and hes a likely hall of famer who should still be young enough to dominate

i dont believe rask's future beyond this season has been discussed but it probably will not be difficult to flip ullmark in the offseason if needed since the goalie market will be pretty thin
One day I will quit fantasy hockey, today is not that day.
