I enjoy a good redemption story. I'm thrilled to see DeAngelo go to Carolina and shut up and play. He's been great and we haven't heard a peep out of him. Credit to the player and the organization. Count me in on this too! Most of Kane’s serious (depending on how serious you consider the fake vax pass) transgressions are ancient history. I’m hoping for a redemption story in Edmonton.

Although along with others, I think a better fit would have been a team like Washington/Boston/Pittsburgh who have a proven culture of winning and a strong veteran leadership core. I’m not sure somewhere like Edmonton who is still struggling to translate their talent to on-ice success is a good fit for Kane’s personality. But if the chemistry develops, it could be a home-run. So props to Holland for at least taking a swing.

Convicted is in quotes because he was never convicted in a court of law. The trial for one of the accusations was adjourned and as long as Kane behaved properly for a number of months, the charges just sot of disappeared. This is likely not something an innocent person would agree to.

That's just it, the team was who gave the blessing to go get him, or at least the key players on the roster were involved in the decision as to whether to proceed with getting him or not. If it fails, it falls on them just as much if not more than on Holland.

I am not sure a dressing room that includes the former captain of the Chicago Blackhawks is the best judge of character.

this is not a good example but aaron rodgers helped me win my fantasy football league this season. tony deangelo is currently helping me win my points league. all we really should care about is winning our league.

evander kane was likely low risk high reward for anyone who has him. if you held onto him this entire time, good on you since your fantasy team likely suffered a bit so far this season. lets hope he doesnt mess up his chance, playing next to mcdavid/leon and producing leads to contract extensions lol
