Kuemper, Francouz or Talbot, Varlamov ?

In our scoring format, Wins, GAA, SV%, Shut Outs, which pairing would you prefer
Kuemper, Francouz or Talbot, Varlamov ?
I think it would be advantageous to have two workhorses in Talbot and Vasilevskiy.
Our minimum weekly starts are 4.

Talbot short term sure is a horse. Not likely long term. Varlamov is inferior to soro I think and drastically streaky year to year. Kuemper/francouz at least locks up every start

I predict bad stretch for Minnesota next weeks (key players injured). And Talbot is now injured too. I would go Kuemper + Francouz.

Kuemper + Franky for me as well. Having those two paired with Vas nets you goalies from two of the best if not THE best two teams in the league. Hard to pass that up.

I prefer the Talbot side. I have limited to no faith in Francouz and Kuemper isn't lighting the world on fire in Colorado either.

Kuemper hasn't played amazing and yet his numbers are still better. 15-5 with a .908 S% and 2.74 GAA

Talbot is 15-8-1 with a .909 S% and 3.00 GAA

The only way the Talbot side comes out ahead is if Varly gets traded at the deadline to a contender and returns to form. I wouldn't gamble on that.

I'd prefer the Colorado tandem, because it's Colorado.

I do like Varlamov more than many, but still prefer Colorado.

Due to covid our league has just reduced our weekly minimum goalie starts from 4 to 3.
I know it’s only 1 game but that is enough for me to feel more comfortable with Vasilevskiy and Kuemper.
Unless I can get a very good upgrade at forward I would consider Kuemper + FW for Talbot + FW upgrade.

I like that "pivot" by your league. Proactive! I further like your decision and use the extra space for a skater. Goalies are voodoo, and if you carry the Avs tandem, who knows what might happen. For instance, what part of that AWESOME roster might Sakic tweak before the NHL playoff (at trade deadline)... I don't trust Kuemper or Franky to carry playoff mail for two reasons... health and playoff experience. I could see them making a play at Flower or Varlamov or that ilk to at the very least be a great playoff presence and take the wheel if the other dude spaces out in the headlights or tweaks a groin. Sakic had to jump on Kuemper as plan B when Stupid Gru sought greener pastures versus perennial Stanley Cup attack.

Go with all world Vasy and Kuemper (current #1 on the team good for a touchdown each night). AND keep ear to ground on any Avs ghoulie trade talks.

That's a good move. Vas should be 2 starts most weeks.
