Following. I drafted him and have been holding.
Luckily I'm doing well so I'm not pressured, but I'm getting tired (J Toews too)...
I picked him up recently, but with him playing 3rd line and 2nd power play, is it just not gonna happen this year?

Ya I'm in the same boat too. His play has significantly dropped off and I'm wondering if he's playing hurt

He had Hip surgery. Very few players come back from that looking any more than 75% for very long. their bodies can no longer keep up with the demands of hockey. Some never come back at all. Kesler being the prime example. Benn himself had Hip surgery years ago in 2015/16 and had one more good year.

Yep tough injury to return from for sure... lots of risk.
But if you have the space, he's a guy I'd hold (and bench when necessary) in hopes of a bigger second half, once he's had a bit more time to build up his body and get back into the rhythm of the NHL pace.
That said - I think expecting a reversion to pre-injury form this year just ain't gonna happen. The O is running through Hintz/Pav/J.Rob this year, so while I'm hopeful for an 'uptick' this season, don't see any major bump (if he ever gets one) until after Pav has moved on.
Definitely the kind of guy I like to take a gamble on if I have the space and time to do so.

what was said about the hip is true and then you must also consider that there are far more mouths to feed in Dallas now then when Seguin first was dealt there and it was literally him and Benn being leaned on for almost all the offense.
