boudreau is only HC until the end of the 2022/23 season so its not too long anyways.

would not surprise me if they dont hire a GM until the offseason and he has to let bruce do his thing for at least one full season before making another change.

as for as bruce goes, i believe hes a good coach and it wasnt clear to me why he wasnt given another shake much sooner. he is on the older side so im sure hes up for the challenge with probably not alot of time in his career left and the pieces are already in place for a scoring team that can play with pace
One day I will quit fantasy hockey, today is not that day.

Timmins was definitely a problem but the fact Bergevin couldn't see it or willing to do anything about it is a problem too.

After watching the press conferences this morning after last nights games, I just want to congratulate Brock Boeser on finally learning from new Head Coach that shooting the puck leads to goals and confidence. I mean, who knew???? How the hell was Bruce Boudreau unemployed as long as he was with that type of information in his back pocket, keeping it from all the players in the NHL.

Congrats Brock and here's to continued success shooting the puck to score!!

It's kinda funny because Boeser only had 1SOG lol. I don't know how many attempts he had, but it's not like he had 4SOG

I'm also surprised he didn't play more. I always figured the new coach just plays the top guys a ton in the first game. But maybe Boudreau just rolled 4 lines because it's easier to evaluate a roster, especially a roster that the top young guys have done nothing.

I only watched the 1st period but Conor Garland sure is quick on his feet and has slick hands. Guy was dancing around the offensive zone setting up Pettersson. Kinda hoping Garland gets more minutes and opportunity under Boudreau.
